The goal of the USNSCC Band of the West is to present patriotic and community performances for the veterans of the United States, the Boy Scouts of America, the Pacific Skyline Council, United States Naval Sea Cadet Corp, AMVETS, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and other veteran and community organizations of the San Francisco Bay Area. By doing this we help maintain, support and promote these organizations, and their history through musical performances. The band is comprised of 13 to 20 year old musicians, male or female, with at minimum an intermediate to advance proficiency on their instrument.
